2nd grade humor!

My second grader picked up the first book in this series and then read at least one a day until he was done! He couldn't get enough of them. He cracks up laughing the whole time he reads them. As an adult, I don't think they are particularly funny, but as they are geared toward 2nd-3rd graders they sure hit the mark! I'm so thankful Dan Gutman wrote books like this that are good for the more innocent children. Some of the other books even at this reading level touch on topics that a 2nd grader isn't ready for. These are GREAT!

My daughter is in 4th grade and definitely not a reader....until now. She picked one from her school library and could not put the book down, so I ordered the series and within a week in a half she has read 4 of the books!!!! Need I say more?! oh except THANK YOU Mr. Gutman
