This is not a typical memoir. A typical memoir would recount a heartwarming story about an underprivileged person who overcame life's obstacles to succeed in life; it would be inspiring. This memoir is about a pretty privileged teenage girl who has critical opinions about more things in life than she should. Nowhere in this book will she overcome any obstacles, though there is a good chance she will trip over a few. Furthermore, this book will NOT inspire you in the slightest. In fact, you will probably be offended by its contents, especially if you identify with one many topics that range from people who walk slowly, gym teachers, or clowns to people who don't sweat, pop-culture shamers or clothes without pockets.
