my new favorite book

This book is like reading a letter from the coolest older sisters in the world. I have never felt like someone understood what I was thinking so much. The "mirrors" of the book helped me see a lot of things more clearly: about my friends, my parents, guys, and my self-esteem...about why people act the way they do sometimes, and why I act the way I do sometimes. And once they helped make sense of things, the "maps" became like maps to a treasure: to the heart of who I am and what I am after. I wish I had read this when I was thirteen. I would have carried it with me everywhere.
