"Where There Is Darkness -There Is Also Light"

To; Anita, I must admit I haven't seen your name listed like other authors. However,I was glad I came across your book at university library in my area and read brief write-up. This was a very good page-turner, interest rating novel. It alert readers,as well as humans that in each darkness there is light at end of their passageway.I look forward to read your other novels as well, Keep it up there are alot of readers waiting for your other novels !

I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN!

This was the best novel I've read in a very long time. It really needs to be made into a movie! I could see maybe Halle Berry or Taraji Henson playing the part of Serena/Sara, and Henry Simmons playing the part of Craig Alexander. This was a great book and I had to take it everywhere with me until I finished. I was even reading it in the drive-thru at McDonalds! There were a couple of parts that were a bit unbelievable, but the rest of the book easily made up for that. Highly recommended!!!

COULDN'T GET ENOUGH

This was the best book I've read by Anita Bunkley since Black Gold. And also the first time I find myself looking forward to a sequel for one of Anita's books. I was very satisfied with the way the book ended. It had closer. But for some reason I find myself falling in love with the three surviving characters. I really would like to see how things turns out for Sara Jane and Craig. Also one of the viewers made a very good point regarding the fact that the author didn't elaborate much on Sara Jane's mother, other then the sketch book she left behind, which is the only connection Sara has to her mother. As usual, this was another story beautifully written by Anita Bunkley. It's also been a while since she's written anything new. I hope she's working on her next book.

Great Read

The book was powerful. It offered insight into how so many of our young people are lured into difficult situations with seemingly "no possible solutions". This book was explicit in detailing the home environment of Sara Jane - which played a huge role in decisions she made, both prior to and after prison. This is definitely a page turner. This is my first Anita Bunkley novel - and I LOVED IT. Keep up the good work!!!

Uniquely Different

Mirrored Life by Anita Bunkley is an intricately woven tale of forgiveness, redemption, and acceptance. Sara Jane Talbot wants to forget her miserable life in Mallard, Texas after a string of unfortunate mishaps, one of which land her in a women's correctional facility for 5 years. While in prison, Sara Jane receives her cosmotology license and vows to turn her life around once she's out. Sara Jane is true to her word and in the process, reinvents herself as the mysterious and alluring Serena St. James. While living this life, she encounters the famous Diana Devereaux and her once simple life becomes the stuff that dreams are made of. She is whisked into the world of glamour and meets the man of her dream. Things seem to have turned out well for the once overweight and unhappy teen, but as any good reader knows, trouble is lurking in the shadows in the form of Serena/Sara Jane's past.An intriguing read guaranteed to hold your interest. Mirrored Life is not an andrenaline-rush page-turner, but more of a leisurely paced stroll through the life of Serena St. James/Sara Jane Talbert. Bunkley expertly draws you into the world of Serena/Sara Jane and makes you feel for her. She (Bunkley) also shows the power of forgiveness and the ultimate need to accept oneself--flaws and all. Can't wait until Ms. Bunkley's next effort!
