Reef in the home

This book is one of the first to tackle the keeping of reef aquariums in the home. There really is nothing miniature about keeping the reef aquariums described in this book. Emmens has a stragiht forward way of explaining how to keep a reef aquarium. Although some of the methods of keeping reef aquariums have changed over the years since this book was published, it still excels with great sections on water parameters, biological and chemical filtration, and a limited guide to certain reef organisms and fish. It's to the point and it is still relevant today. Reviewed by Brian Fox
