Excellent Read

Mimi was a wonderful novel that was both historically informative and accurate, as well as thought-provoking and interesting to read. I read it for one of my college courses, but it was such a good novel I almost forgot I was studying history!

Mimi, One of the best books you could read

I was assigned to read this book for a class and I knew nothing about it to start. I waited until 5 days before the test to start it and was amazed by this book. It is the perfect mix between a love story and an educational view of Hungary between the years of 1939 and 1945. I would urge every person to read this book. It will keep you entertained and wanting to know whats going to happen next. Honestly I am a 20 year old college student and almost everyone in my class agrees that this is a book anyone will enjoy.

I absoultely adored this book! I was very hesitant at first, due to my lack of understanding of the Hungarian culture, but I could not put the book down! Vardy writes in such a manner that she makes you want to keep reading to see what plot twists she's going to throw in. It's an amazing book with many historical facts intertwined to a great novel. I would recommend it to anyone!

Loved It

I read Mimi for a college class and I loved it!! The characters are so realistic and I could not put it down. Prior to reading Mimi, I knew nothing about Hungarian culture. Now, I feel like I know more about Hungary in World War II than I do about America. You will not be disappointed if you read this book because it is excellent.

Good book

I was required to read this book for school and was pleasantly surprised. It is a great book that leaves you wanting more. I can't wait for a sequel.
