Nice collection for the anglophilic military enthusiast

A great volume to read, touching, funny, rich in texture and variety. Complements the denser Oxford Book of Military Anecdotes with not much overlap, which is great. I also recommend highly "Mr. Klpling's Army" by Byron Farwell for those interested in the oddities of British military history.
