This is the movie that Joan Crawford was born to act in. At the height of her career she plays the mother of a spoiled little girl who she gives everything to and in the end she is forced to let her go. Her daughter takes and takes and does not appreicate what she has been given. When she flirts with her Mother's mob boyfriend, she gets more than she bargained for and makes a life changing decision. Based on the true story of Cherly Crane the daughter who killed mobster Joey Stompanato to save her life. A great cautionary tale for all parents not to spoil their children totally!
