In this second book of Dalton's McMahans of Texas miniseries, Clint McMahan is not keen on his late brother's wife, Cait McMahan, starting a riding school on his ranch. He doesn't like Cait interfering, but before long, Clint finds himself involved in Cait's idea--and in over his head. Clint soon comes to terms with his faith while realizing his love for Cait. Original.
This book is loaded with emotion ... you can feel Clint's pain at truly feeling like Cait is responsible for his brother's death and at the same time he starts to care for her without wanting to ...The book draws you in and you feel his pain, at the same time you have to admire Cait and how hard she tries and cares. She is not as tough as she appears on the outside. This is a book that no matter your age I believe you will enjoy reading it. Gena Dalton is a excellent author this second book in the McMahan Series and is every bit as good if not better than the first book in my opinion.
