Very good introduction to Site Server 3.0 & eCommerce

I recommend this book to anyone planning to use Site Server for hosting web-shops on the net. It give very good understanding of modules and features in Site Server 3.0 and I learned also lot about eCommerce. This is very good book for beginners, but also for planning and take a right decision.

Excellent book for setting up and administering Site Server

This book gives a step-by-step overview of Site Server features and administration for those unfamiliar with Site Server. Highly recommend it for those that need to set up, administer or evaluate Site Server 3.

Good high level overview of most of the Site Server Suite

Going through the Site Server documentation does not give a thorough understanding of each component or their relationship to the whole. This book ties them together nicely. Don't expect to know how to code an ASP page for use with Site Server when done, or how to fully leverage Site Server. Just expect a very good launching pad. After reading this book, the Site Server documentation will make a lot more sense.

Not a Bible, but a very good start

This book is a good start to understand Site Server and its features. The book as a whole is well organized. It is not a programmers guide, but is definitely the right book for beginners.

Good examples, lots of pictures, good starting point

This is a good how-to book. I have read many of the chapters in the first three sections. They give good examples of how to setup and configure many areas of Site Server 3. It is better than drudging through all the online documentation. The topics are covered in a good order, building up in complexity. The last section of the book discusses Site Server Commerce edition and there are even chapters that specifically talk about sample online stores. Site Server 3 is such a huge program that books like this really help get you acquainted with all the different features. I recommend it to anyone setting up Site Server 3. I am glad I bought it! :)
