Microsoft Office Access 2007: Comprehensive Concepts and Techniques provides a project-based, step-by-step approach to successfully teach students Microsoft Access 2007 skills. This description may be from another edition of this product.
A lot of people complain that the Shelley Cashman series are too step-by-step and are boring, but I think it is precisely the step-by-step nature of the series that sets it apart from other computer texts. Everybody learns differently and some people don't have an intuitive nature with computers, which is why the Shelley Cashman series is perfect for a wide range of people. Access 2007 is no different. It has very clear and thorough projects for the student to work through, so they can learn every aspect of the program as well as online testing and additional projects for the student. The comprehensive concepts and techniques version is worth every penny, because the other version only cover part of the topics, but this book covers everything. After completing this book, you will truly be competent at Access 2007, and you can even take a test to be certified in it. I couldn't be happier with this book, unless they changed it to a spiral-bound version or something more durable, because it can take a beating just by using it frequently.
