A princess comes alive

This little known princess, first wife of King David, comes alive in this historical fiction book. The author reveals an emotional and spiritual struggle Michal may have gone through as the wife of King David. The reader is even pressed to consider the events in David's life in light of scripture that tells us he was a man "after God's own heart". I had to read it twice! Each time I came away with a different emotion toward the characters.
