This book's premise intrigued me as it unfolded a new kind of mystery, involving technology that seems to be something that could possibly become a reality in the near future. Though the story clearly evolves around the potential danger of this technology, it centers mostly on Ben, the main character, trying to find out his daughter Caitline's whereabouts using the internet as his means of trying to track her down. He initially sees her in a kind of snuff website not knowing if shes alive or dead. That sets the stage for Ben to find Caitline, and experience a wide variety of characters who support him or out to get him, inviting more questions and mysteries the deeper he gets into the situation. I found the story to be vididly written and most of the characters strong and detailed enough to form a sort of movie in the mind. The setting is in Minneapolis, and living in the city, I could actually "see" the different locations that were being described. I found this to be an exciting book - never a dull moment!! I thoroughly enjoyed it.
