What a great buy~

This atlas addresses the curiosity of those from 4 to 104. It is presented in a very eye appealing manner with colorful maps and an abundance of information. What is included are geographic features, political boundaries, as well as geopolitical, social, religious and economic statistics. I wouldnt suggest this atlas for those with a need for thoroughly comprehensive information but for the rest of us, it is both adequate and enjoyable.

Great Resource...Can't Beat the Price!

I bought this book because I needed a filler item and it was less than a couple dollars. I thought it would come in handy to have around the house since I am planning to start homeschooling my son next year. This book is beautiful and full of useful maps, facts, and other information. I gladly would have paid full price for it. My six year old loves it too. He's already spent over an hour flipping through it and asking his dad and I questions about the maps.

Great Resource!

I bought this atlas for my daugthers who are in 3rd and 4th grades. They have a geography assigment and test each week and had no way to study at home for these before. We have really enjoyed this atlass! It has great maps and also lots of other information which I am sure will be useful for homework projects for years to come!!!

Successful gift

I purchased these student atlases for my 3rd grade class. They refer to themselves as "Mapheads", because they are enthralled with geography, and I thought it would be the perfect gift. The books were handed out during the party, and immediately following the ripping of paper, and the "Oohs and Ahhs" there was absolute silence as they dove into the books. After about 5 minutes of hearing only the sound of turning pages, I began to hear, "Look on page ___, all the flags of the world are there", and "Look what the earth looked like before it separated into continents!" It is January, and they are still willing to give up recess to scour these atlases. These books are easy to navigate, the illustrations are clear, and the charts are very well done. Although this atlas is for older students, these 8 and 9 year olds were able to glean information easily, and they will be able to use them into middle and high school. It was money well spent.
