Great stories after the ending.

If you have enjoyed this manga series and read the last 6 mangas you will like this 7th volume. It has stories of what happens after the final battle and an recap of how the very beginning happened. It also has other short stories the author made during her career.

Don't Be Fooled

Ok, as good as this book was, don't let the "Volume 7" part trick you. Pichi Pichi Pitch definatly ended with volume 6 (as i'm sure most of you suspected or already knew.) Anyway, all this volume contains (that is Pichi related) are two short side stories (One about the tragic romance of YuriXHippo, the other a short story about Luchia getting sick and having a flash back about the day she met Kaito. It's very short and simple and not the great big romance scene I had had in mind based on all of the other romantic parts in the books) and a 3-page tribute to Michal (who I personally can't stand, and I think coming in 30th in the popularity contest serves her right!). Anyway, these 3 small things don't even make up 30% of the book, and the bulk of it is taken up by 3 other mangas by Hanamori-Sensei. These are the three one shots "Get Nude", "Moon Goddess Diana" and "Cherry Blossom". In fact, the preview of volume 7 featured in volume 6 was actually an excerpt from "Get Nude". Now, don't get me wrong, these three manga are.... ok, but they are no where near the quality of Pichi. Also, i found it very dissapointing that the three male leads of these stories all look almost exactly like Kaito. I would have apreciated some variety, but Hamamori-Sensei has really pulled a Yuu Watase on us :P. In conclusion, if you were satisfied with volume six's ending, then this volume is rather superfluous. However, if you are completely addicted to Pichi, or are interested in Hanamori-Sensei's other works following Pichi, then it is worth it.
