Best healing book I ever read. Probably the only one I'll ever need.

Until I read this book I dindn't know I had the very power of healing myself in myself. This book has helped me become aware of the energy channels present throughout the body. By daily applying the exercises AND THE CONCEPTS in the book I have been able to change painful conditions and organ imbalances in real-time -- that is, in the moment of the exercises; and with lasting effects. I would recommend this book and practice to anyone who feels the urge to use our innate capacity to be aware of and manipulate our vital energy for better health. This book is worth a lot more than its price -- a godsend. It's a pity it's out of print.
Similar to Yoga but relaxed philosophy, good for rehab.

Excellent explanations of Chinese meridians, and methods of using/obtaining Ki. Many postures are similar to Yoga postures but allow for modifications, such as bending the back on forward bends rather than keeping it straight. In rehabing a torn medial collateral ligament, the 'Spleen and Stomach' exercise, and the alternate one for knees that won't bend back 'Knee Lift' were excellent. Using the books 'relax into it' philosophy, I used a lot of props (pillows, blankets) at first. Within a week the knee made amazing progress in mobility.Have also used the exercises for bronchitis and to improve balance. Well written and easy to follow pictures.
