Beautifully Written

Ms. Heim writes like an angel. I love how she makes me see the scene without boring me with heavy details. When the heroine buys a red dress...well, you just have to see it for yourself. It's unforgetable! Her characters are believable and very likeable. Great debut novel!

A pleasantly addicting book

I found myself with little spare time during the days that I read "Memory Reload." Rosemary Heim gives a great perspective on the characters and how they react to surprising facts from the mysterious past of AJ. This story is sure to keep the reader hooked on discovering answers to the unexpected events that keep piling up. I enjoyed Heim's smooth and enjoyable writing style, and I'm definitely looking forward to the next book from this exciting new author!

Great beginning for a new author I hope to see more of

Sometimes we just want an exciting and entertaining read. Rosemary Heim provides this in her first published work, Memory Reload. I enjoyed trying to figure out who did it, how it happened, what was going to happen... Ms. Heim's use of words dropped me right into AJ's world and how frightening it would be to have lost your memory. And Ryan, well, we all would love to have a Ryan in our life; strong, kind, intelligent, resourceful and great looking. And then there's Hawaii and all its glory. What I loved, having been there many times, was the accurate manner in which Hawaii was portrayed. Grab this book. Summer's coming and you want it for those long, warm days in the sun.

Great effort from Debut Author, Rosemary Heim!

Overcoming the past is hard to do...especially when you can't remember.Memory Reload draws you in and keeps you involved from page one. Rosemary Heim's use of figurative language plants you into the tropical lushness of Hawaii so subtly you'll wonder how you got there so quickly. Ryan Williams is an FBI agent whose attempt to take a vacation from the intrigue of the bureau on a friend's estate is interrupted when a beautiful trespasser pulls a gun on him during his morning run. His southern manners interfere with his well-trained responses to danger and relaxing is the last thing he gets when his protective instincts reach out to the woman, who actually looks more terrified than tough. Then he learns her memory has vanished and he puts his skills to work to help her remember. Well, okay, it's a little more than "protective" he feels, but the adventure he begins in trying to help AJ reload her memory will require all his training for both of them to survive. Not to mention the trials he experiences when his personal and professional lives overlap. AJ's amnesia is well represented by Heim as she gradually reveals bits and pieces that deliver clues as the intrigue develops. The contrast between knowing more about the hero than the heroine allows Heim some wonderful opportunities to build her heroine's character without the past as a support. The reader's experience as she gets to know AJ is almost like watching a dance of the veils. As each one is lifted, a little more is revealed. Heim does it so skillfully that each clue entices the reader to keep turning the pages. With the insights of a psychic friend and despite the skepticism of his peers, Ryan remains determined to protect AJ. But whether his heart will continue to overrule his mind when the stakes are life and death and to discover what else lurks in AJ's lost memories, you'll have to read the book.Kudos to Rosemary Heim on her debut book, Memory Reload. It's a keeper.

Losing your memory

Losing your memory is a terrifying experience as any woman over 40 can attest. This book takes you to a whole new level of "terrifying " since the heroine doesn't just have a little short-term memory loss. She's forgotten her entire life! A hero comes to the rescue and the romance these two find will never be forgotten. Rosemary Heim is a wonderful writer whose stories always fulfill expectations with drop-dead gorgeous men and inspiring, plucky women. I can't wait for her next book. I give this one six stars out of a possible five!!!
