A revolutionary icon

Great book if you are already familiar with the events and cast of characters in the French Revolution and, in particular, the short period known as "the Great Terror." The writing is clear and concise and she is a great name dropper. Her recounting of earlier parts of her life are amazingly modern (or very well translated)
