About the Author Born and raised in Illinois, as a visual artist and poet, Linda Obobaifo naturally gravitated towards the fine arts. Linda received her BFA in Painting and minor in creative writing with an emphasis in poetry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2022). She received her Masters of Fine Arts degree in Painting at Boston University (2024). When she is not writing, she spends her time in the studio, oil painting. Her main interests lie in abstract painting and sculpture, often pairing works of poetry with visual art. Additionally, her passions lie in music, as she is a violinist, pianist, guitarist, and musical soundscapes artist. Music allows her to create an immersive experience, transforming time and space.
