Loved this book, this author knows how to write REAL christion fiction, it was definitely worth the money. I can't wait to read the rest of the Altar Series.

The Altar -- A Symbolic Place of Deliverance and Love

Author Tamika Johnson penned a wonderful story about forgiveness, deliverance and finding love when the impossible happens to ruin any hopes of ever experiencing love the way God has intended. Shana Jackson had just started going back to church after finding her husband in the arms of another man. Feeling that she was hurt beyond repair and the thoughts of ever loving again pushed to the recesses of her mind, Shana finds herself sitting next to Derek Chance in church. As handsome as he is, Shana tried to fight off her attraction to him, vowing not to allow herself to enjoy a true relationship again. On the other hand, Derek sets out to prove to Shana that he is the man God has placed in her life to love her and treat her like the queen she is, and to help raise her daughter, Kayla. Through bumps and lumps, trials and other things, Shana finally allows herself to love again, but it was still difficult because of the baggage she still carried from her previous marriage. Only she had no idea how dangerous it was, literally. Unknown to her, Shana's ex-husband had been watching her. How dare Shana enjoy her life with another man and share their daughter with him.
