Very good book for a student new to nursing

Although this book is 5 years old, it is constructed SO well and most of the material matches up-to-date books. Why I like this book: it presents you with a condition or a group of conditions. You learn what it is, signs and symptoms (not just from nursing POV, but good medical exlanation), then follows diagnostic testing, nursing assessments, intervetions and teaching. Everything is in order. It has many photos and other illustrations. Easy to read. I read it as a supplement to the material used in my nursing classes. great book.
