Still relevant and useful for mechanical components design

I writing a late review, after buying this book in 2017. The deign methodology although from 1985, is still useful and relevant in 2021. Although FEA/FEM has replaced many things, the fact that the FEA results must be benchmarked and verified, makes this reference still very important for experienced component design engineers like me.
