Great read for youth girls

I used this as a study with 9-11th grade girls. They loved her style and laughed at themselves/people they knew in the book. They were challenged to think differently about how we all treat eachother and I believe we saw a change among the girls.

A Happy Little Person

My 8 year old daughter had been having trouble at school. Academically there were no problems, but in the playground it was a different story. There were a number of girls who would pick on her and make her life a living hell!! (I don't remember this happening to me at school) When she asked me what she could do about it, I didn't know. This book was recommended to me by a work mate. With a nice Christian slant to the book, she has been able to arm herself for the new school year with the knowledge of how to deal with the "Mean Girls" in her life in a way that lives up to our values and beliefs.
