Welcome Back, Sam!

My husband and I read these to our son when he was quite young. Now we are buying them for his son, our first grandchild. I am so pleased to have Sam, Doggie, Lisa, and Mother back in our lives. These books may be simple, but they are delightful.

Simple genius!

I first read this aloud to my 2 1/2 year old nephew and laughed so hard I could not contain myself! A clever little funny that surprises you... and left us in a fit of giggles that were wonderful! Lindgren has taken some basic concepts and put them down simply in the language of her audience (the toddlers) and has hit a jackpot. I'm glad there are more Sam's books.

I LOVE SAM!!!

I find these books to be delightful. I remembered them being my favorites as a toddler and have sought them out now for my daughter. I used to sit and read these books over and over again at our public library, it is now 23 years later and I am happy to have them back in my life again!!!

Delights in it's simplicity

The Sam books by Barbro Lindgren are very simple and wonderful to share with small children who are just starting to be interested in books. My one year old loves this book. The pictures are nice and the text on each page short, making it an ideal choice for little ones with limited attention spans.
