A great book about cats!

Max and Minnie are two city cats who chase a mouse down a magical mousehole, and wind up in the wild woods. At first, they react with glee to the opportunities to hunt for wild game--until they find that they will be hunted, themselves, in turn. This book is charmingly written, my children loved it. The pictures are gorgeous, and drawn with great detail. The pictures, by far, are the thing I loved most about this book, but it is a very well-written book that captures and holds a child's attention.
