Marvelously Marvelous!

My children (ages 2.5 and 4.5) love this book! It took a few readings before I got used to the verse switching in cadence and from rhyming to non-rhyming -- however, it was well worth the learning curve as this in now one of our family favorites. The illustrations are unique and captivating, great for talking about colors or playing I Spy or just enjoying. I am disappointed by the first "editorial" review -- I have to say I just plain disagree with the reviewer. In our house, this has the kid seal of approval!

Kids LOVE it

I'm a mom and an elementary teacher, and children love this book! They want to hear it again and again, and chime in on the repetitive sections! They enjoy the silly rhymes and alliteration. We can branch out into discussions of our favorite desserts, or talk about our changing moon - although mostly we talk about our favorites of the incredible illustrations! This is the kind of book your child will want to hear every night at bedtime! S. LaCasse
