I have been teaching for a number of years. I was required to purchase this book in my undergraduate studies. Unlike some textbooks that are mostly theoretical, this book offers very practical information to help in the classroom. I have used this book more than any other textbook that I have ever purchased both in my undergraduate work and in my graduate work. The book offers a thorough progression of mathematical concepts. I refer to it whenever I have a child or a class that is struggling with a certain concept. I also refer to it when I am doing my lesson plans as it has excellent hands-on activities for all concepts.
