Math Yellow Pages Rev. Ed. for Students and Teachers

I just bought this... it is HELPFUL, in a big way! There are NEVER enough hours in the day to read all the materials you need to, in order to make sure your covering everything you need to teach your students!! This book takes the guess work out of it. There are two pages in the front with check lists, then in the back of the book are explanation in case you don't recgonize the items on the check list, one example is given of each item. Plus, after the check lists there is a page or two of all of the terms (vocabulary used for this subject) and after that each symbol is shown with the meaning of the symbol. This is much more then a dictionary however, it's as easy and quick to reference as if it were a dictionary. Students will no longer have to wait for an answer to there question while you run to see which book has that answer. Explanation are clear and easy to understand. The vocabualry lists could be given as spelling tests each week while covering a certain part of a subject. If you could see how full and yet uncomplicated this book is... it's a keeper! And one I will be using daily! One more thing, the pages while pacted with information aren't small unappealing print, they are visually appealing and not run together with other information so there is no confusion, like in other guides I've tried to use. I know I will be buying more of these yellow page books, to help take the guess work out of covering each subject throughly. Good luck! Stacey
