What an Amazing Book!

I would give this book six stars if I could. I absolutely loved it! (Note: this is the first book in a series of three, and it ends with a cliffhanger, so I recommend ordering the other two books, Criminal Destiny and Payback, with it) The characters are so likeable, and the plot was amazing. I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through. The basic plot of the story (SPOILERS AHEAD) is that Eli, Tori, Amber, Malik, and Hector live in a perfect town where there is no crime, homelessness, or anything bad at all. At least, they think it's perfect, until they find out (SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT!) that they are actually clones of criminal masterminds. Their "parents" are scientists part of an illegal experiment that tests whether children with criminal DNA, if they are raised in a perfect community, will still turn out evil. (NO MORE SPOILERS) This series is full of action and adventure. I would recommend it for 6th grade and up. Each book is about 300ish pages. This series is a must-read! (If you like Masterminds, I would recommend some of Gordon Korman's other books: the Island Trilogy, Dive Trilogy, Everest Trilogy, On The Run series, Kidnapped Trilogy [sequel to On The Run], and Operation Do-Over)
