This book I bought from Pakistan and found it excelent to learn Java Script basics. The book's start is very organized and well written but became little confuzing at the end. The book is not crystal clear about the differences in J Script & Java Script and do not tell how to find its alternate in each other respectively. It becomes fuzzy when writer explains about Live Wire programming, otherwise it excelent.I will rate...

I found this book to be very useful. There are many examples that are helpful in developing your JavaScript skills, and there are several more advanced sections that include explaining how JavaScript can be used to link with Java and ActiveX. This book truly helped me develop from a beginner at JavaScript to an expert. My experience before this book was that I was an HTML expert, but didn't have a clue about JavaScript...

I bought this book in March 99, fresh from the presses, and build a 100.000's$ project with it.It realy is great. I'm not a C++ programmer but an advanced CFML and HTML programmer. The other readers might not like this book, because hey have to much or not enough knowledge of Internet programming languages - I guess. This book contains the information I was looking for.
