Hard to imagine a better Excel 2007 training manual

Outstanding visual presentations and organization make the book a pleasure to study. The book lives up to its series title: Master Visually with thousands of screen snap-shots the result of which is efficient learning. You will not waste time having to find the menus, buttons and dialog boxes that the author is referring to. The author has done the time consuming work. Also, the book is well organized into practical tasks. You don't have to read the book from cover to cover - just look up the specific task you are interested in. There are many Excel books on the market but in my opinion you will be hard pressed to find an Excel manual that makes improving your skills easier or more efficient. As an aside, I sent the author an e-mail with a specific question. I not only got a response within a few hours but the response was most helpful.

Made Excel Make Sense!

I've tinkered with Excel but needed to go to the next level for a new job. Yes this is a visual book but it's also got a lot of substanial information that will make it a permanent fixture on my reference book shelf. I learned what I needed to get going but keep coming back to it when there's something new I need to tackle. And it's well written. I recommend it!
