Unable to put the book down

This is one of my favorite historical romance mysteries!

This was an amazing story! I think it was the perfect combination of mystery, suspense, clean romance, and historical fiction. This book begins by dropping you right into the action and grabs your attention from the start. After that, it only gets better and better. The mystery in this novel was one of the best parts. The way the story was written and being able to see Elizabeth's thought process, made everyone seem like the culprit. Every time I thought I solved the mystery, there would be a plot twist to change up the story. This kept the book really interesting and made me want to keep on reading. Masquerade at Middlecrest Abbey was definitely a hard book to put down. This author was new to me, and I'm so glad I discovered her. I am looking forward to reading more of her books in the future.
