Very good book for detailed overview

A very good book for what it is written for. A great Detailed overview of the Eastern Shore. Not too much detail to bore you and a broad enough scope in time and events to allow you to put the book down after reading it and be able to intelligently talk about the SHore.

Yes, a journey...

I bought this book so I could get some fun facts and interesting comments to stimulate conversation at our family get together over the holidays. We hosted an Eastern Shore themed party and I displayed blurbs from the book and the old folks from the native Eastern Shore were able to relate and talk about their memories. If you are a Native Eastern Shoreman/woman, you will enjoy this book.
