Excellent small group Bible Study tool

This study guide, as well as the other Fisherman Study Guides, is very conducive to open group discussion with a Biblical basis. It is a good catalyst for inductive teaching of the Bible as it is not overly structured and "programmed up".

Good for Group Study

All of the FISHERMAN study books are great for group studies, and this one, MARRIAGE: LEARNING FROM COUPLES IN SCRIPTURE is no exception. I personally wish these books went into more detail on Biblical Doctrine on the subjects they cover, but I believe the purposful omission of such detail is to encourage a maximum amount of group input. This is a process the author's refer to as "inductive" study, which promotes study member research. These are all well written and each section includes provocative questions on the subject matter that will stimulate group participation.
