Mark Tyner Enters the Virtual World is a story of a geek who becomes an unknown hero both in an online game and in the real world. He is introduced to the game through an advertisement wherein he meets five others who received the same invitation. They meet the one who invited them to play the game who explains that they are to retrieve items both in the game and in the real world but, they are being followed at every turn both in the game and in the real world. Who is following them and why, what is the purpose of gathering these odd items? As they delve further into both the virtual world and the real world, they learn these items are ancient and very powerful, can they trust the one who sent them to retrieve them, can they trust the ones who are following them? The excitement builds chapter by chapter until a side is chosen and the last battle is fought but is this the end or just the beginning of Mark's story?
