Fun book but a little pricey

Mark Steyn is a gifted writer with a keen eye and good ear. His book "Broadway Babies Say Goodnight" was one of the most insightful books I have read on American Musical Theater. This book is a more in depth look at one writer. I don't want to give the "plot" away but he writes about Dorothy Fields and her music and then takes what he considers her top 20 and discusses them. There is also a chapter on a Cole Porter song. This book is a fun read and imparts information in a quick and easy manor. I think the cost was a little high for the amount of material contained, but I am still glad I bought it.
