Not the original cover as displayed

I purchased this book for a loved one, based on the fact that the original cover was shown. Other later printings were available for a lesser price, however,I wanted the original cover from scholastic. I did not receive a copy with the original cover. As this was a Christmas gift and I was willing to pay the hugher price for the oeiginal cover,I am disappointed.
