Perfect pocket-size Marilyn, except it's too thick to carry in the average pocket :)

_The Marilyn Handbook_ is well-named; it's a first-rate place to go for quick lookups on facts and quotes relating to the one and only Marilyn Monroe. Biographical timelines (on the endpapers), concise data on her movies, sketches of the various phases of her life, and lots and lots of pictures in color and B & W (and some of these were new to me when I first saw them; honestly, will people ever be able to stop finding new images of Marilyn?) It doesn't compare, of course, to ultra-comprehensive reference works like _The Marilyn Encyclopedia_, but then it's not supposed to; on its own ground, it can't be beat for the times when you just need to look up something fast about Marilyn.

If you love Marilyn, you'll love this book!

This book is one of the best on Marilyn! It is small in size but has over 400 pages, a beautiful shiny cover, and tons of priceless Marilyn pictures, stories, and quotes. It looks great sitting out on the coffee table or shelf. I was amazed at how many rare pictures it had. I thought I'd seen every picture ever taken of Marilyn until I got this book. If you're not a fan, you will be after reading this book!

Great Book

I bought this book for my son for his birthday. He's a huge Marilyn Monroe fan. And he never stops flipping through the book. A real treat for those Marilyn fans out there!!
