A pleasent detailed look at the life of Ms. Antoinette

I found this book for the most part to be very detailed and charming. The content in the book follows Ms. Antoinette from birth to death focusing on the key points and moments of history in her life. There are some parts where the book gets a bit drawn out and boaring and the author rambles about different relatives of the court life and family and it is hard to follow in those parts, but generaly I found the book to be quite charming and interesting. Her writing style is very easy to understand and paints a portrait of how life an Versaille really was for Marie Antoinette. I would have given it a five star but those tiny areas where Haslip rambles off was the only negative point to the book, I rather enjoyed it.
