Art for Art's sake! Duck Style!

This is a fun, well-written story about a duck who paints. It is illustrated with lovely pictures and creates a world of art appreciation and joy for young readers. Im a teacher and children LOVE this book!

Excellent intro to Moon phases for 5 yrs old and less

What a delightful little book! It was recommended on an astronomy listserv I belong to. This is a great way to introduce the Moon phases to children 5 and under. It is told in a simple way. It makes a nice story with animal characters that children know. The science is impeccable and is made very romantic and playful. I bought one for myself and then 2 other copies for a niece and nephew!
