Just another textbook

The book itself offers many different essays on a large variety of subjects. The textbook by itself, however can get really dry, and without professor direction, things can get really stale.

A very thought provoking book
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 24 years ago
I read this book for a sociology class and thought it was very very good. It has many short stories which are very thought provoking and deal with very important issues, problems and observations in our society. It speaks about crime, socialization, culture, groups, social inequality, the economy, social change etc. These seem like technical terms but it is a very easy to read and straight forward book. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
