Many Bloody Returns

Entertaining and fun. Vampires celebrating birthdays! I am recommending this book to my family and friends.

good read!!!

This is a wonderful book. I've enjoyed reading some new authors I had'nt read. Charlaine Harris has proven that she is also a talented editor. Unusual combination of birthdays and vampires, true, but wild to see how different perspectives on the same subject can be written. Wow, great srories! I'll be finding new writters to enjoy since this book!

Review of Charlaine Harris' work--Sookie Stackhouse

Regardless of what Charlaine Harris does, I am a FAN of hers. Particularly, I am a fan of her Sookie Stackhouse novels, the juxtaposition of fancy and free lyricism, the challenge of putting her writing into a form that is so expressive. I am a fan of Ms. Harris, as I convey the written language of her novels into a real BLAST of fun. Thanks for this opportunity to share my vote on her writing!

bloody birthdays? What's better than that?

This book has everything - a great Sookie story, some Dresden Files... AND a great way to find new authors. I found the Morganville Vampire series through this book. An awesome find!! Overall - not all the stories really sucked me in (sucked, tee hee - vamp reference) but all of them were worth the read.

Nice set of short stories

I bought this simply because of the Charlaine Harris, Jim Butcher and Tanya Huff stories that were in it. However, I ended up enjoying almost every other story in it. It caused me to go out and purchase Tate Hallaway's books as well. The Jim Butcher tale was awesome. The Tanya Huff story was cute. It also gave me a new appreciation for Kelley Armstrong, whom I'd previously read but disliked. In general, I don't tend to like short stories, but I absolutely loved this collection and would recommend it to anyone who likes Charlaine Harris, Jim Butcher, Tate Hallway or Tanya Huff.
