"10 years ago my Dad was diagnosed with an eye disease called AMD - age-related macular degeneration. He was told that he would probably lose his central vision within the next 2-4 years. We were devastated, especially that my dad had just retired after 54 years working as a veterinarian and was so much looking forward to spending time on many of his artistic hobbies like drawing and carving in wood. Unfortunately, his dreams were not meant to come true. It was a very hard time, especially for him. He was not able to draw his detailed drawings, nor to carve anymore, but he still enjoyed coloring different shapes. I dedicate this coloring book to my Dad and all the lovely, older people, who have different, age-related disabilities, but still like to draw or color. With love ♥".
