The book has some spelling and grammer errors, but I needed it for a class textbook, so I guess it's fulfilling its purpose.

This book is a great book. It can be repetitive, but it has a lot of great ideas.

I found the book very useful with excellent information about change. It presents a fine synopsis of different change theories with good samples.

Understanding Change

There are many individuals who doesnt want to accept change in the business arena. This book provides the different scenarios as to why companies may feel the need to change in such a competitive society. This book explores all the different environments in the industry and provide real life situations to support their findings. This is an easy book to follow and I recommend for future students and those individuals that are not susceptible to change.

The second edition text has updated readings, additional self-assessments and new topic coverage. New content includes; a generic strategic change initiative project plan, characteristics of traditional versus strategic change projects, how to use emotional intelligence to build good working relationships when dealing with change, and other organizational change topics! 2nd Edition text has Foreword by Dr. Warner Burke. This is a textbook that helps the reader better understand how to deal with today's organizational change process. Each chapter has a brief vignette to provide a perspective on what will be covered, followed by concepts and theory plus readings and cases that enable the reader to apply what they have read. Questions on the readings and cases and linkage to the chapter content are provided. For those that want to better understand how to address the ups and downs of strategic change initiatives, this text provides insight into how we can better handle change and how we can help others do the same.
