It was just ok

Not scary but it was ok and an easy read.

I'm not really sure how to feel...

I liked it, I did. I promise, I liked it. But I am also particularly confused and not sure how to feel after finishing the last page. I'm pretty sure I spent an additional five minutes scavenging the book to see if there was more or if it truly ended as it did. Spoiler alert, it definitely did. I think. I looked into the book, firstly, because it was prompted after looking over some other books, as does happen. The main character, Sabrina's, name was what hooked me, I think. I have a character of my own that fit her description, physically and psychologically, so I decided to give it a go--see what my Brina might be up to in another universe. Then the house itself was the clincher--I really, really like old, odd houses with even odder stories and this definitely fit the bill. Brian Harmon's Rushed: The Unseen is absolutely to blame for my need to grab this as soon as viewing it. What I was not expecting were the many twists and turns after I truly and honestly believed I had finally figured out what was going to happen next; spoiler alert number two, I was never correct. I did love the humor between the characters, particularly Sabrina and her husband. Her kids...were another story but I suppose they have their moments. The house itself, I think I felt on a personal level. All in all, I recommend it. I don't recommend coming in with any set in stone expectations as, I promise you, you will be wrong.

oh the vibes this gives

pretty fun and would be better if it didn't feel like a divorced man getting back at the wife who kept his house wrote this. also. what is up with damien? do you hate you kids?
