Man About the House by Alison Kelly Harlequin Presents # 1975 - August 1998 Man Talk themed series Brett's been away from his Australian home for four years working in television in LA. After a relationship let down, he feels it's time to settle back at home. He's relieved that he has use of his mother's house while she's in Europe on an extended holiday. To his surprise, he's not the only house guest at his mothers. Joanna is a knockout but completely out of bounds, according to Brett's sister. Joanna may look sophisticated but she's led a very repressed country life and this makes her totally vulnerable to savvy ways of the city world. Brett's promise to keep his hands off proves to be the hardest thing he's ever done. This was a fun read. Man Talk is a series written from the male point of view. I can tell the author had a lot of fun writing this one! And she made it fun to get into poor Brett's head as he struggled with his attraction to Joanna. Some pretty good laugh out load moments in this one!
