Animal book

Bought this book as one of a set of three for identifying animals, birds, and trees that we have been seeing in our new neighborhood. We built a new house in a different area of the city we live in, much more rural than where we lived before. We have fields and woods all around our home and have been seen all different kinds of little animals and birds. My husband always wants to know what everything is so I bought these books for our anniversary. They are written for us beginners with an easy-to-find guide that uses color and other easy identification methods.

great little field guide

I loved this book so much that I walked over to my neighbors' house to show them the day it arrived! Great photos, good quick-guide to comparing sizes of different mammals, and good scat and tracking information. I really prefer it to my other field guides because of the great color photos, which I find much more useful than sketches.
