good book series

We used this series in our homeschooling last year. I was happy for the most part. The math sections of the 3 books in this series we used (this 4th grade book, the Kindergarten book, and the 5th grade book) have several errors in the answer section. We did not find any errors that I can remember in any other subject section. It's a good basis, but you'll need to look up several things on the internet as you go. Alot of the websites it gives to expand on the individual topics don't exist anymore so you'll do a good bit of online searching. We primarilly used the internet in our schooling anyway so that didn't bother me. We didn't do many experiments or projects that it has at the end of each section so I'm not sure if they're good. I was happy with the way the English, Social Studies and Science sections were layed out. Math was good too, as long as you know what you're doing and can get to the correct answer yourself-you will have to do the practice pages yourself and cannot rely on the answer section to grade the childs work in Math. Math is my favorite subject as well as my daughters so it wasn't a big issue for us that they had incorrect answers in the book.

We need one of these books for every grade!! It tells you everything. We have one for 4th and 5th grade - tried to get one for 6th grade and I guess they must not publish one. I have a child in 9th and 6th and we will still refer to these books sometimes
