Making it Right when you feel Wronged.

I found this book so helpful. It cleared up many feelings for me personally. I have given this book to friends to help them through difficult times. It's still with a friend. It is wonderful to keep by your bedside and one can find a little advise to "glean" before sleeping. I loved this book you will too.Regards M. Sherrard-Griffith

outstanding

Extremely helpful book from someone who so obviously understands how hard it is to move on when someone has hurt you and your attempt to forgive and mend your relationship has failed. Only someone who has been through this trauma could possibly write with such compassion and knowledge on the subject. Jeff gives you the answers that will help you breakfree from the damaging emotions you are feeling, so that you can get on with living a purposeful life.

Making it Right when you feel wronged

Having read the author's prior book, NO Aim NO Gain, I am eager to read this one now. Dr. Wickwire has a knack for injecting gems of wisdom through candid and often amusing anecdotes, which result in aiding the reader to see aspects of himself he can not otherwise recognize. His books offer tools for responding to lifes difficulties in language that is easily digested, as well as liberating. I highly recommend No Aim No Gain and am eager to read this new one....and will no doubt recommend it highly in my next review!!

A brilliant Blueprint for Navigating Life

I am not a fan of self help books because they usually spend most of their time identifying a problem rather than the solution. Wickwire's book is different. It shows you in a clear, concise, creative way how to tackle your problems. It's positive, uplifting, and it makes interesting, provocative reading for anyone who has ever been hurt, disappointed or angered by injustice. The author's personal anecdotes and biblical scriptures re-inforce his advice and they always hit home. The layout is pleasant and the questions at the end of a sentence help to focus the reader. Great book no one can afford to live without!

"Taking Offense" and Giving It Away

Jeff Wickwire's book came at just the right time: I had just taught a class on the book "Total Forgiveness" by R.T. Kendall, and received a hurt from a pastor and a church where I was employed. Wickwire, a minister himself, spoke helpfully in his book to my pain and helped me to move along to recovery. Giving and receiving forgiveness is so important to living the Christian life and most of us endure slights and hurts and offenses from others all the time--and all too often hang on to them and poison our lives. Dr. Wickwire's book is interestingly written, helpful in everyday life, gives solid advice, and is positive and optimistic in how we are to live our lives in the face of unresolved hurts. The chapter on "Choices" is especially useful. As he writes, "nothing you have suffered through yesterday is worth losing today and all your tomorrows!" (page 109)
