Facing challenges? Spend some time with this book.

In this gem, Dawn Nelson shares all of herself.....not just thoughts, but her emotions, feelings, physical reactions. She describes her journey with cancer, exploring her challenges, choices, ups, downs, relationships created during this journey.I was left with the feeling that through this book, she will accompany many facing cancer and other life limiting illnesses, giving them new perspectives, new hope, new life.

The fluffy cats autumn review

This book is an inspiring source to find a personnal way through the scary perspectives of any serious illness (not only cancer). The choices any person in this situation has to make can really be stimulated by Dawn Nelson's insights. I write this sitting next to a fireplace with three fluffy cats on my knees and I really recommend this book!

Heartfelt description of personal journey through cancer

Dawn Nelson's forte is her abiltiy to relate dealing with cancer both specifically and generally. Whether it is facing the first chemotherapy, receiving the first good news, or navigating through the HMO system, one can be with her as a person and also relate it to everybody else's experience. Dawn Nelson offers a new perspective: The growing cancer itself can reveal an important message about life, and finding that message can help to heal.

I relate!

Dawn's book is a warm, humanly real account of finding her way through the daunting diagnosis of cancer, treatment, and personal fears and choices. She offers helpful descriptions of how to get through the medical system, how to explore alternative therapies, and what worked best for her. Most inspiring are her stores of family love, support, and insight into the impact of her illness. I highly recommend it!

Claire

A moving and thought provoking dialogue of coming to terms with a diagnosis of cancer. I highly recommend this read for anyone who has or knows someone who has cancer.
